ENI Companies In Nigeria has a New Managing Director – Roberto Daniele

Mr. Roberto Daniele is the Managing Director of Eni’s companies in Nigeria – NAOC, AENR and NAE – since September 2020.  He succeeds Lorenzo Fiorillo in his current position.

He graduated in Geo-Informatics Engineering with 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Mr Daniele began his career in Eni in 1995, at Agip’s Reservoir and Petroleum Department. In 1999, he served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer for Nigerian Agip Oil Co., Port Harcourt, Nigeria, then moved to the Petroleum, Petrochemical and Power Production and Environment department in Agip Congo. 

Roberto Daniele began his managerial duties as the Reservoir Manager in Eni Exploration & Production Division, Cairo, Egypt in 2003. His role in senior management progressed as Operation Manager in 2007 and Technical Director for Eni E&P in Russia in 2009. 

In 2010, he was appointed General Director for Eni Energhia in Moscow, Russia. He then became Executive Director and Operator’s Management Committee Member – Gas Division for Mellitah Oil & Gas in Tripoli, Libya, in 2013. In 2015 He served as the MOG Gas Division Director for Mellitah Oil & Gas. In 2016 was appointed as General Manager for Cardon IV, Venezuela and subsequently, in 2019, Managing Director Of Eni Ghana E&P, a position he held until his appointment to his current role. 

Born in Ethiopia to Italian and Greek parents, Mr. Daniele has two daughters.
